Dozens of Elk Grove businesses are joining forces over the holiday shopping season to give residents a reason to shop local for the holidays. The Think, Shop, Live Elk Grove Holiday Shopping Elk Grove Program kicks-off on Black Friday, November 25, 2011, and continues through December 19, 2011.

Shoppers can enter to win prizes by visiting any of the participating locations, filling out a raffle entry form and dropping it in the holiday bag. The more stores a shopper visits, the more opportunities are available to win prizes.

“Now more than ever it is important for all of us to support our local business community by shopping at home for the holidays and this program gives shoppers an incentive to shop Elk Grove for all their holiday gifts,” said Angi Perry, Executive Director Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce. “This year we are inviting all Elk Grove businesses to participate, even those without a traditional retail store front, in hopes that we will continue to raise awareness of the variety of businesses right here in our own backyard.”

These are some of the gifts you can win by shopping at the participating businesses starting Black Friday:

  • Grand Prize of $2,000 in CASH
  • $250 Gift Certificate for Dance or Drama lessons
  • Fairfield Inn $250 Gift Certificate
  • See's Candy & Holiday Basket
  • $50 Outback Gift Certificate
  • $50 Boulevard Bistro Gift Certificate
