Shop local at Saturday’s Fantastic School Daze

Are you a shopper who likes great deals with Elk Grove businesses? Are you an Elk Grove business who likes to provide good deals to local shoppers? Let’s come together for a special event where you can get the deals or provide them. On Saturday, August 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Elk Grove businesses are invited to participate in “Fantastic Event: School Daze" shopping event, sponsored by Think, Shop, Live Elk Grove. This Fantastic Event will be open to the public in conjunction with the Farmer’s Market located at the Laguna Gateway Center at the corner of Laguna and Big Horn Boulevard.

The School Daze means family fun and of course fresh produce direct from regional growers. On day of event, Individual spaces (10'x10') will be made available to Elk Grove businesses on a first come, first served basis adjacent to the Farmer’s Market beginning at 7:00 a.m. until noon. Sign ups will be at the Chamber Booth. Participating businesses can bring tents, tables and other materials necessary to present your product or service to the public.

Due to the nature of the Farmer’s Market some restrictions do apply. No food preparation is allowed. Electricity and water are not available. Space is limited, and all participants are requested to be set and ready to go by 8:00 a.m. and stay until noon. The charge for each participating business is $20.00 cash or check only made payable to the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce, day of event. Look for the “Think, Shop, Live Elk Grove” information booth Saturday morning located at the Farmer’s Market.
